Episode Name: Naked Air date: 1/31/2013 Summary: The glee club puts together a calendar photo shoot to raise money as they head into Regionals. Meanwhile, Rachel wins a part in a student art film, but the role poses a moral dilemma.
Glee season 4 continues this week with episode 12, "Naked," and while Rachel's going to have a decision to make about a role in New York, the guys at McKinley are going to be stripping down for a calendar photo shoot.
The first sneak peek shows the full performance of Rachel singing "Torn," and that's exactly how she's feeling regarding this role, which brings up a moral dilemma and would have her topless. Lea Michele is perfect here as Rachel is "torn" between the old her and the new her. The last episode showed just how much New York is changing Rachel, and if you've missed seeing the old Rachel, well, here's your chance.
In the second Glee season 4 episode 12 clip, Figgins brings Sam and Brittany into his office because they've received the highest and lowest SAT scores ever recorded at McKinley—and it's Brittany who got a near perfect 2340. "Clearly she cheated," Figgins says. Ouch. Apparently Brittany really lucked out that the way she filled out the answer sheet resulted in that score. Sam, on the other hand, got a 340. Brittany does try to comfort him: "Don't worry. You don't need to go to college like the rest of us. You have a really great body. You could be a personal trainer. You could be a greeter at Abercrombie. You could be a greeter at Abercrombie's corporate headquarters. Whatever you want to do." That really doesn't help, and it also doesn't help that Brittany doesn't even know the names of the colleges she thinks she could go to now. Are they going to find out something that changes this situation?
The third "Naked" sneak peek shows that the New Directions are back to competing and have to get ready for Regionals, which includes raising money. After a couple of ridiculous suggestions, Tina comes up with an idea: the Men of McKinley Calendar. Each guy takes two months, and Tina already has an idea for Blaine. Oh, Tina. This isn't going to end well for her.
