Maraachli Appealing to the Court of Appeal
Posted Feb 28 2011 8:15am
Joseph Maraachli's parents were unable to reach a compromise with the hospital. So, it now appears that they
will be appealing
the decision of the Ontario Court of Justice affirming the CCB ruling.
The
Court of Appeal for Ontario
is basically the court of last resort for the province. The
Supreme Court of Canada
hears appeals from less than 3% of the decisions of the Court of Appeal.
