Baby Isaiah -- Court to Hear Independent Assessments on March 11

CBC reports that the parents of Isaiah May are securing independent assessments of the baby's condition. The treating providers are currently under court order to continue life-sustaining treatment. Both sides will be back in court on March 11th, when the court will presumably decide whether to continue the injunction.
But the court may never need to make a ruling on the merits. If this case is like the Baby RB case in England, the very process of securing independent assessment may lead Isaiah's parents to agree with the Alberta hospital's withdrawal recommendation.
