We had a hail of a good time on the Fox Hole 100 Day 2.

We began the morning with breakfast at the Fox Hole Tavern, packed up our tents, then began the ride back to Lincoln with an awesome tailwind. The clouds were looking wicked and there was cloud to ground lightning. Then as we neared Crete the wind changed into a tough headwind, the temp dropped quickly, and a downpour with hail let loose.
The Fox Hole 100 staff made the call to pull the plug early after we took cover in the SAG buss and a sheriffs patrol car from the stormes.
None the less, we had a great time, it was a fun group and a perfect way to spend the weekend. There will be another Fox Hole 100 this fall. Make plans to go, they take great care of you so you can focus on having a fun and relaxing two day camping tour to Wilbur and back. Today I only got 10 miles in before the weather got too unsafe to ride in.
