The tri shop market for Austin just got a little smaller. Today, the owners of VO2 Triathlon and Cycle announced that they are closing their store immediately.
We have in hands the hard task that is to announce that VO2 triathlon & cycles has closed doors on June 22, 2010.
For the past 18 months we have put our heart, time and money in this venture. We have done so just because of our passion for triathlon and because there’s no greater satisfaction than the feeling of helping people pursuit their goals, either doing their first triathlon or trying to qualify for the world championship in Kona.
The business challenges were many, even before we opened doors. But many clients supported us and this motivated us to keep moving on. We want to thank you all for the great support. Keep training and pursuit your goals! So will we.
Gustavo and Camila
VO2 was a sponsor of Austin on Two Wheels since around the time they opened. We thank Gustavo and Camila for their support of us and the cycling community and wish them the best in their future endeavors.
