It's a great time of year to be a bicycle commuter.

This time of year the mornings are brisk, the trees are reaching their peak colors and the sun rises minutes after I leave the house in the morning. Today was just about my perfect commute with very little wind, and 41F/5C degrees. My body seems to work most efficiently at these kind of temps. The last few mornings I feel like I've simply floated up the hills when climbing.
This is along Keene Creek. The colors seem to be furthest along in these deep watershed ravines.
Looking east towards Duluth Harbor and Lake Superior beyond.
Looking south, the Bong Bridge over the St Louis River, and Wisconsin on the other side, is engulfed by fog.
Ahhhhh....I could have stood here much longer if I wasn't on my way to work.
It was a beautiful morning. I mentioned to a co-worker that I don't know how I'd handle missing out on my morning bike rides if I ever had to drive to work again.
