Inspired by Lovely Bicycle , I decided to do a little photoshoot of my bike - I think it's important to surround yourself with things that are aesthetically pleasing for you, as well as functional, and a bike is no exception.
The curved fork and dimpled fork crown, as well as the hand-painted pin-striping.
The elegantly shaped cottered cranks.
The all-metal trigger shifter, with the gently swooping, chromed steel handlebars.
The graceful curve and smoothly worn finish of the brake levers (I made sure, before getting the front hub replaced, that I wouldn't have to change brake levers).
The pinched front mud guard and the metal Raleigh headbadge.

What bits of your bike really blow your whistle?
