Get each dollar you give to World Bicycle Relief matched this Wednesday through Friday.

As a person that celebrates Christmas as a holy day, I am constantly trying to avoid the commercialization of the season that is the antithesis of the teachings of the guy whose birthday we are celebrating. Still, I must always avoid being a humbug about giving as well, especially when it comes to projects that help others. Such a project has come to my attention that I’d like to share with you.

World Bicycle Relief is a nonprofit group dedicated to providing bicycles as reliable transportation for healthcare workers in Africa so they can provide services to more of the community. WBR has already placed close to 50,000 bikes across the world in just four years. This is a great program that I’ve donated to in the past, but this week you have a chance to literally double your money when you give to WBR.

Starting tomorrow (12.17) at noon CST until Friday (12.19) at noon, an angel donor will match every dollar you give with the goal of raising enough to deploy 100 bikes (200 with the match.)
