Bikeshare followup graffic: Amination of a day in London’s bikeshare program

Posted Mar 28 2011 12:13pm
Last week, I wrote about San Antonio getting its first bikeshare program and shared some really impressive numbers on how bikeshare has effected cycling percentages in a short time in Seville and Barcelona. London, too has a growing bikeshare program, and I discovered this really cool animation of the program on its busiest day to date, October 4, 2010. The was the day of a major transit strike, and at one point they had over 1000 bikes rented out at once. Whether you think bikeshare is the next big thing or maybe oversold , this video is extremely cool.
