This picture is from a bike camping trip from June of 2007. It was one of the few times I've ridden my Pugsley when there wasn't any snow on the ground. I've been wanting to repeat this trip ever since, but haven't.
This weekend's weather forecast was looking superb with temps in the 40's-60's. Perfect Fall camping weather in my book. Last evening I got completely packed and ready to roll Saturday.
And then....I woke up Saturday with the cold virus that has been making the rounds at work. DAMN...I've been looking forward to a weekend bikepacking trip for quite some time. I guess it will have to wait. Hope this isn't one of those colds that hangs on for a long time. This is the best time of the year for camping.
