After their noon press conference today, the Austin Commuter Challenge has officially been launched. You can sign up as an individual or as part of a team. There was talk about maybe forming a League of Bicycling Voters team, for example.

So now that the site is up and launched, go do it! We were thinking about forming an A2W team but I think it would be more fun to tag on to another organization’s effort. If you’re forming a team, let us know and we can help publicize it.

I just signed up (mesgdesign), and it was quick and easy. One thing to note is that it’s a little confusing to look for local teams at the moment. Hopefully we can get some clarification from Bicycle Sport Shop on how that part really works.
