Shoot the ball if you're going to play in the game!! If you don't shoot you're pointless on offense, and if you can't shoot, learn how. Shoot to miss, strictly so you will be guarded on offense and the other team can't double team the best player.
If you are pointless on offense for a lack of shooting then I am curious about your perceptions of cutting without the ball, screening, and relocating the position of the basketball via the pass.
