Yesterday, I noticed that a large soft lump had formed on my upper back toward my shoulder. It seemed to come on quickly.

Diameter of a golf ball, soft, moveable, no pain when touched, close to the base of my shoulder bone but not attached to the bone.  Should I wait a day or two to see if it disappears before running to the doctor?  Or should I be concerned.
