Reversed curvature in the neck can be caused from multiple factors. Poor posture such as anterior head carriage (aka forward head carriage) can play a roll. Sitting at a computer without proper ergonomics for a long period of time can also cause forward head carriage. Other events that can cause a reversded neck curve ( military neck) is trauma. For example a whiplash injury that is not treated properly can cause a loss of lordosis in the neck.
Degernative changes to the neck can also cause reversed neck curve. Finally, cervical kyphosis can also occur after a cervical fusion surgery- the Neck Pain Blogger
