lot of lower back pain, especially in the morning after awakeing

Lots of causes to lower back pain. Poor posture- during the day and at night can cause lower back pain. If you are sleeping on your stomach or in a twisted format, that can be a cause for pain when you first wake up.

A trauma such as a fall or a motor vehicle accident can cause low back pain. Driving for long periods without a proper lumbar support can be major cause for LBP.

Not stretching before exercising can be another cause. Also, check your bed mattress for support.

Degeneration in the lumbar spine such as arthritis can be cause for pain in the lower back. - NJ
