The NHS has launched a new clinically approved back pain tool for people suffering from back pain.

The new online back pain guide shows you how your back works, what can go wrong and how you are prevent back problems.

The clinically approved guide is packed with videos and images showing you how to maintain good posture at home, at work and while driving. It also explains how to lift heavy objects correctly and different exercises you can do to strengthen your back.

For chronic back pain sufferers it offers advice on the treatments available, including stretching, hot and cold packs, manual therapy, keeping moving and pain killers.

It is hoped it will be a useful tool and enable people to learn about the pain they are experiencing, and how to best manage it.
