Fibromyalgia

A recent study has found a link with sleep problems and Fibromyalgia.

Apparently women older than 45 have the greatest risk of the sleep problem link.

The exact causes of Fibromyalgia remain a mystery to this day, but Norwegian researchers have found a connection with women who have persistent sleep problems who then have developed Fibromyalgia.

They say the findings are important as they indicate that sleep problems can be an important factor in developing Fibromyalgia.

According to Paul J Mark.PhD, professor in the department of Human Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, early detection and proper treatment may decrease the risk of Fibromyalgia as well as other chronic diseases.
