Spinal Decompression with the DRX9000 is NOT a Magic Bullet

I talk to a lot of people about spinal decompression with the DRX9000...I'm amazed at what some patients are hoping for. I spoke to a lady last week with multiple level disc herniations in her low back. She wanted to know if we could get her in for a session so she could fix her back problem before she goes on vacation. When I told her the treatment protocol was 20 one hour sessions over 6 weeks, she about fainted.
When I went on to explain the home care regimen and exercise program, she started heading for the door...she was looking for a MAGIC BULLET.

You also need to refrain from exercise. You will do specific spinal exercises once you reach the half way point. In addition, you need to drink 80-100oz of water per day. This helps to hydrate the spinal discs and flush out waste products.
There's a lot involved with decompression therapy (with the DRX9000). Some folks just aren't ready for it. But...for those that are...there is often times a bright light at the end of the tunnel. The more you put into the lumbar or cervical spinal decompression...the more you get out of it...like anything else in life.
Sure, you may do everything perfectly, and the DRX9000 still doesn't help you. But...at least you increase the odds of a favorable outcome when you give it your best shot. It's just the smart thing to do.
