sheurmans disease... is this childhood diagnosis affecting me now im 40.?

Posted by claire

I remember being told i had this as a child that i would have to maybe have a built up shoe, also that i would have problems having children this is not the case, however the birth of all 3 children was not easy which makes me remember another comment that i seem to remember 'your back bone and pelvis are fussed'...ithis being such a long time ago i wonder if any of what the docs said was correct..??

Howevermy back problems seem to be getting worse.. I did just put it down to wear n tear however i am a fit 40 yr old and i have used a gym for over 2o years, in fact the less i do the more i ache. Im fine some days but others are not so good, just to sit on the floor to maybe cut/paint my toe nails is painfull but only on the left side, i grin n bear it pedicure my feet then im in pain throughout my lower back and pelvic area .

I just wondered if indeed the diagnosis was correct all those years ago? what has it left me with now? artritis or some other condition maybe? also apart from continuing with the gym what else can i do or take to alleviate some of the discomfort. Or do i just accept im getting older..?  do all 40 year olds ache like this, sometimes i feel as thouh im just making a fuss....

Thanks for taking time to read this, your thoughts and comments are much appreciated.....
