They say that by not dwelling on your ill health, disability or pain you'll minimise the effects of you pain and any other illnesses.

No matter how bad a day I'm having I always make the effort to look and feel smart as I know it helps me feel better. But by doing this, I also get people saying 'how well I look considering how much pain I must be in'.

Positive thoughts come across as a positive attitude and if someone tells me I'm not looking well then in actual fact it makes me feel worse.

My way of distracting myself is a walk with the dog, reading, writing, blogging(of course) and chatting with friends on the internet. It works wonders for me and as they say a strong positive mental attitude will help create more miracles than any wonder drug.

'Rise, take up thy bed and walk'
The Gospel according to St. John
