Sometimes a chair with a good lumbar support helps. Also, make sure your knees aren't higher than your buttocks. The
stress wedge works well to prevent that and it tilts your pelvis slightly forcing your lumbar spine to curve more. The piriformis is tightening up because of nerve pressure in the lower spine and bad sitting posture. Any chair with good comfort and support should help but also try not to sit for extended periods, getting up and moving periodically.
