Osteoporosis: Can It Be Prevented With A Once Per Year Injection?

Vmo03051 When it comes to osteoporosis...there are a lot of opinions...I question most of them. For one thing...osteoporosis is often times treated as if it has no cause...just a disease of the elderly...a foregone conclusion.

Well...I agree that it is very prevalent...and that the symptoms can be devastating...hip and spine fractures...but I think we have more control over the situation than most doctors do.

In my (biased) opinion...osteoporosis (in most cases) is just another degenerative disease that could probably be prevented with proper lifestyle choices. And those lifestyle choices for the most part have to do with what is on the plate at the dinner table, not an annual osteoporosis injection at the doctors office.

What we eat, the amount of exercise we get, our stress levels, alcohol/caffeine/tobacco/drugs, and everything else that makes up our context or lifestyle, all play a role in degenerative disease processes, including osteoporosis.
