occasional reoccuring numbness/weakness in left arm

Posted by madmaddi0

im not quite sure if its a pinched nerve or not. my blood pressures fine. heart is fine as far as i know.used to smoke. im 18 years old and have been on birthcontrol for 2 years...but every once in a while i will get this feeling of weakness in my left arm, no extreme pain or anything but like im weaker? and its slightly slightly numb? it used to freak me out because i wasnt sure if i was having a heart attack but it still is scary. its been going on for about a year and a half now, and ive yet to go to a chirpractor to see if its a pinched nerve since i dont have any severe severe pain

You may want to get that checked out.  Have you tried to see if the birth control seems to be playing a role.  It's not impossible it's causing something neurological to happen.  I could also be a disc problem.  An mri of the neck spine will help you figure out what's going on.
