my left testicle has been stuck in the upright position for 30 yrs! Can it be unstuck or should it be removed?

Posted by ktg1960

A urologist did a endoscopy test(i think) and found it was stuck but never recomended anything for me back in 1985. Ive been told by other urologists the testis should be removed to prevent cancer from forming. I have no sperm count since it happened & hardly any testosterone.  I have light pain in my upper left part of my butt around the waist area for many years.

The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of a upright position testicle as a symptom. There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about your symptoms.

  • Testicle injury
  • Alcoholism
  • Male Hormone disorders (low testosterone, prolactin and thyroid hormone levels)
  • Feminization (Female-like physical changes in males)
  • Certain drugs (prostate cancer drugs)
  • Genetic disorders ( Klinefelter)
  • Testicular atrophy (shrinking condition)
