My boyfriend gets a headache at tip of his spine and pain radiates down the inside of his left arm and left side of his torso is

Pain at base of neck radiates down inside of left arm and left side of torso hurts, feels dizzy sometimes likes he wants to faint. Went to emergency room, ruled out heart or stroke. Going on 7 days. Could this be from a pinched nerve or tumor?
