my 3 year old woke up with bad pain in her upper right side of her neck into head.

she is in alot of pain. she can barely move without screaming.is it a pinched nerve or strained muscle from sleep wrong? what should i do ?i rubbed it gentley and put a hot water bottle on it but it's not really helping.
