MP'S INVOLVED TALKS ON BACK PAIN INJECTIONS...

Posted Jan 05 2011 2:26pm

According to BackCare News MP's are calling for top level talks in the apparently long running NHS row over the cutting of routine injections to help back pain sufferers.

Complaints were made to Health Minister Anne Milton that some areas were operating a 'postcode lottery' by denying back pain sufferers relief which is available in other trust areas.

The Minister said that they were bringing in some reforms so that decisions about treatment and care are made by clinicians-GPs and other people including some voluntary and charitable organisations and that they are clinically led, evidence based and also include patient choice.
