Losing Weight and Keeping it OFF with a Plant Based Diet & Exercise

Hnf0291 Well...it's the New Year again, and the gyms will be packed...for a month or so. People will go on their starvation diets to try and lose all the weight they gained during the holidays.

Nothing wrong with that...if we're only talking about an extra couple of pounds...and you are getting back into your regular routine of proper diet and exercise.

But for most people...that's not the case. Most of the folks at the gym are part of the 2/3 of the American population that are overweight. And...they remain overweight because of the lifestyle choices they make...day in and day out. Going to the gym for a month and starving yourself is a short term fix at best.   

And, you may be putting yourself at risk for injury or illness. The best way to deal with weight loss is to become educated on nutrition so you can make better choices as far as what you eat. Then, you can splurge every now and then...and it's no big deal.

I know I always gain a couple of pounds during the holidays...but it's easy to deal with because I only deviate from my normal diet and exercise routine slightly. Then, along with everyone else...I'm right back in the thick of it on Jan 2nd.
