knee pain How long should swelling and pain show on knee after making impact with the ground due to motorcycle accident

i was in a motorcycle accident 5 days ago. my knee made impact with the ground and my jeans were ripped. I got road rash, and immediately swelled, bruised and caused pain. 5 days later i still have trouble sometimes straightening, applying full weight, What injuries could have possibly occured, if anything at all? And should I be seen by a dr?
