It depends how severe it is. Often times it doesn't just get better on its own so it can be fairly serious. Most likely it's something in the cervical spine, like a muscle strain and or spinal misalignment. I would start using a
neck pillow combined with neck stretches and exercises. Also, make an appointment with a
chiropractor to make sure it's nothing more serious like a disc issue or something neurological.
