Sheron, i would recommend that you get treatment after being in a rear end car accident. Often times, this can cause a whiplash in the cervical spine which can lead to decrease in range of motion, muscle spasms, muscle tightness, and neck pain. This can include different kinds of pain like burning or tingling. Have you tried chiropractic treatment for this?

 Also, it would be a good idea to have a neck c-ray or mri to see what is going on in your neck spine.
