I don't know about you but I can't believe how green the grass looks now that the snow has melted, but it was great to be able to get out and walk in the fresh air without risking a limb being broken.
Bess (my dog) was delighted when I got her coat out and every time she found any bits of snow left she would push her nose into it and then run on ahead !!
I immediately noticed how much my endorphines kicked in after my walk but also realised how unfit I am and at the moment, quite overweight which put together are a disaster for someone with a bad back.
So many articles I read state that being overweight is bad for someone with a back problem and although I am not that overweight I know a stone or more off would do me the world of good.
I decided I am not going to bore my back friends with how I get on but I do think writing everything you eat or just keeping a diary helps with your weight loss and I had set up another blog some years ago to do just that but only wrote it for a couple of months then my back pain took over my life and bang went the diet.
This time I am determined to at least prove to myself that I have tried every trick in the book possible to hlep me get rid of some pain so tomorrow is "D" day and all I want from you lot is some luck.
I will still be filling in my back pain blog as well and you never know it might get easier (the pain that is) lol.
