I know how much back pain sucks. Don’t despair! It is totally possible to get almost 100% better. I’ll talk a lot about this in upcoming posts, but for now, take a deep breath, smile, and and relax.
Also, if you are considering back surgery, please get a second opinion and/or discuss with your doctor alternative or holistic therapies! In my opinion surgery is the last resort – and it is NOT reversible if things go wrong. Also, in my experience, my back pain has been due to causes that surgery would not fix anyway.
Seems to me that the main draw of surgery is that someone else will fix things for you, and you’re done. Like taking a pill. In my experience, though, if you want long-term relief you’ll need to work at it – every day – for the rest of your life, and make some fundamental lifestyle changes – after all if you keep doing the same things that got you in this situation, how can you expect things to change?
