I have a knot in the left side of my lower back and the pain comes and goes. I can move it around with my fingers. What could th

The knot is larger than a dime but smaller than a quarter. Actually closer to the quarter size. I hurt all around the knot also, but it's the knot that concernes me. I can move it with my fingers, and that also causes pain.
