Most often you would get swelling, pain, and possibly nausea and/or dizziness if in the neck. Most blood clots however occur in the lower body. I would see your doctor asap or go to the ER if you suspect a clot. The reason clots are serious is because if it breaks and travels it can clog an artery. For example a pulmunary embolism is when a clot blocks the artery of the lungs.

I am concerned about blood clots. And i'm wondering what symptoms you would have if you had a blood clot in your neck.
