foot spasms, could it be from my back?

Posted by mouse613

I have a lot of things wrong with my back and now there seems to be something new going on. Let me tell you first of all...I have 4 herniated discs in my cervical spine, 5 in my lumbar area, spinal stinosis in two areas of my back, straight neck syndrome, my spinal cord splits like a snake tongue at the bottom, 2 fused vert. in my neck, 1 cracked the lumbar area, one of the lumbar vert. is anterior, the others are posterior, a lypoma in the thorasic area of 5 mm, and needless to say degenerative disc disease. I am on vicodine and flexarol to relieve some of the pain. The issue is now I am having an issue with my foot. Occasionally it spasms (painfully) in shin and foot turning it inwards and my big toe points straight up.  Any suggestions on why or what it is?

well i think i can say with 99% probablitily that it is the sciatic nerve distribution to the foot causing the spasms.  I empathize with your situation, it sounds like you have some serious concerns.

I would recommend decompression therapy for you low back to relieve this pressure and very gentle conservative chiropractic care.

There is no risk with OA, or herniated discs with chiro care.

let me know how it goes.
