Cure Back Pain? Back pain relief in 3 Simple Steps

Posted Jan 08 2011 7:28am

You may have been told that there are simple ways to cure back pain, that there is the miracle “magic bullet” that will end your pain in just seconds. You may become a bit disappointed to learn that this is in fact untrue. Back pain relief is easy but there is no magic bullet, you still need some effort and time to succeed.

You will see many people offering you a cure for all that ails you, including your back pain. But the saying is true – if it sounds too good to be true – then it usually is. These types of cure only ever give you temporary relief.

Why is this true?

All aches and pains are created by imbalances that if left untreated will return. The temporary measures that most offer never get to the underlying issues, which means these underlying causes increase with time.

Pain becomes more difficult to change when it becomes chronic, results are harder to achieve also. To cure back pain permanently you must follow a step by step approach that removes all the causes of your pain.

Would you like to know what to change?

There are a few areas you MUST look at:

The first thing to do is to detect the imbalances in your spine, these are the true causes and not how you lift or bend. Detecting these imbalances gives you things to target to get quick relief.

There are 2 muscles that determine which imbalance you have, detecting tension in these muscles helps you identify which imbalance you have.

Once you know the imbalances the next step is removing pain – symptom relief. Don’t be fooled into believing that removing symptoms is bad. You will read that symptom removal should be avoided, that you should target the cause. Yet I have never found a single person in my clinic that wants to remain in pain while we rebalance the distortion patterns.

Symptom relief is GREAT… as long as you still remove the causes at the same time. There are ways you can literally turn off the pain signals your body is releasing, so that you can address the causes while being pain free.

You do know that you have to remove the cause too.

Removing the imbalances requires you to target both muscles and joints. Again, if you only stretch or exercise you will fail to remove ALL the causes and pain will return.

To rebalance the distortion patterns you must stretch and strengthen certain muscles and encourage joints to move freely. Your pelvis (which is the center of the distortion patterns) needs to be balanced also. This can only be achieved by using targeted joint techniques. Once you correct these imbalances your work is still not complete. The final step is as important as the first step.

Breaking the habits that have formed that have allowed pain to remain is essential. The imbalances have developed with time and become habitual. To cure back pain these habits must be broken and new habits formed. This doesn’t mean lifestyle changes, but training your body to remain pain free, which in fact is the easiest step.

Changing habits simply requires you to target the areas and reassess the imbalances regularly. This way you can asses your spine making sure the balances remain. Early detection and early intervention are the keys to getting long lasting results.

To finish …

To cure back pain you must follow certain steps, and you must remove the cause. Long lasting back pain relief only happens if you follow these rules.
