Chronic Neck Pain and Migraine Headaches?

Bxp570171 Are you suffering with chronic neck pain and migraine headaches? Do you feel like you have tried everything? If so, you're not alone.  Over 17% of women, and 6% of men are thought to suffer with migraines. If you have ever had one...you know how devastating they can be.

I know from first hand experience. I went on a two year medical roller coaster ride when I was 23 years old and suffering with severe migraines and neck pain. At one point I was told I could have a brain tumor...until an MRI ruled it out. I developed an allergic reaction to the Percodan that was prescribed for me and almost died.

Finally, my headaches and neck pain took a turn for the better when I went to see a chiropractor as a last resort. I was a stock broker at the time and he was my client. It took many sessions...but they left forever. We ended up becoming best friends and I changed careers.

I have now been practicing chiropractic in downtown San Francisco for almost 17 years. During this period I have helped hundreds of chronic neck pain and migraine headache patients...mostly with great success.

It can almost seem like a miracle to patients that have been suffering for long periods of time. It's just that most headaches are caused by pinched nerves in the neck. Sure, this is my opinion...but there is plenty of science behind it and results.

The point is...you may be suffering needlessly. Chiropractic care is very gentle and very safe...especially compared to the medications they prescribe for migraine headaches. So my advice is to give chiropractic a try for your neck pain or headaches. Because chances are...you will be glad you did.

I am a 35 year old woman. I have headaches for as long as I can remember. They have got worse in the last 5-8 years.  Went to my primary doctor, he sent me to a ear nose and throat doc.... nothing, he said I had TMJ sent me to a TMJ doc.... spent over $1500 for a mouth piece that doesn't help my headaches... been to the dentist so it's not a bad tooth or anything. Seen a chiropractor for many years it didn't help either.  I have been seeing a neurologist for over a year now, had the MRI's, CT scan and EEG. Said something along the lines of I injured my head years ago and a blood vessel is the cause of my pain.  I have tried many different meds... preventative, on-site migraine pain, pain killers, nothing is working... even trying magesium and melatinin... I pretty much have a headache everyday. It's on the left temple and sometimes raidiates down to my left eye. Also my eyes are fine too, don't need or wear glasses.  Have tried massages they feel nice, but doesn't stop me headache pain.

I am beginning to lose faith in my neurologist... can anyone help? I am currently on  Amitriptylin 25 mg 3 in morning 3 at night. This med isn't working either.  Tried topamax it worked the best, but caused me to be depressed and suicidal.  Had my hormones checked, am now on hormones... Neurologist said that could have been causing my pain, but nope... been taking them for 4 months now... still have my headaches.  I am missing out on my kids lives and my family...  I am sick of having these damn headaches...
