Chiropractors evaluate whiplash injuries and see a difference between race care accidents and street car accidents.

One of the many things that chiropractor study is the cause of whiplash injuries. Do you ever wonder why race car drivers seem to jump out of their crashed cars with no whiplash injuries where if you have a small bump you end up in my Chiropractic office with severe pain? I saw a little of the Indianapolis 500 race and like usual there was a fair share of crashes. I know that one crash resulted in a significant injury to one of the drivers but so many others fair much better.
The race cars are designed to absorb the forces of the crash and if you notice the cars are pretty destroyed. When your car gets bumped and no damage is done, the force of the impact goes into the occupants of the car and significant injury can occur.
This type of injury is usually soft tissue in the muscles and ligaments. These are hard to see but frequently respond well with Chiropractic care. It is important however to be evaluated and examined as soon as possible so the healing process will begin and be effective. The worse thing is to have a whiplash problem become chronic.
