Can't traditional Chiropractic care treat my disc herniations ?

Posted Jun 02 2009 4:35pm

This is a question I hear every day at my San Francisco Disc Herniation center. I have been practicing traditional chiropractic for 15 years and I must tell you, my success rate (up until now) has not been very good with severe, chronic, disc related pain.  For the most part, I would end up referring these cases out for medical care, sometimes surgery. In fact, when I acquired my first DRX 9000, I contacted many of the patients I was unable to help, and I worked on them first.   The results were just amazing. Since then I have purchased another lumbar machine as well as a cervical unit  so I am able to treat disc herniations in the neck. The interesting thing is, I have found that I am actually able to perform some traditional chiropractic on disc patients after they go through the DRX program for maintenance care, and even some spinal correction. I believe the DRX 9000 is able to make the spine healthier, stronger, and better able to handle exercise, chiropractic, Yoga, Pilate's, and many other therapies. It's a fantastic tool.
