can scar tissue result after having pneumonia and can it effect pain going down the arm?

I recently fell ill with pluerisy and pneumonia and wish to ask if the pain in my back (around shoulder blade) could be scar tissue? Also can scar tissue cause pain or discomfort down the arm? Thank you!
