Autonomic neuropathy affects the autonomic nervous system- those things in our body that are involuntary. For example: digestion, heart rate, emptying of the bladder, blood pressure. One of the symptoms of autonomic neuropathy is dizziness, or light headness from change of position.  There is a group of symptoms that can occur with this type of neuropathy.   Hope this helps you out.
