I have been prescribed Darvocet (pain) and Flexeril (muscle relaxer) due to degenerative disc disease. However, I am thinking I am having side effects from one or both of these meds, such as insomnia (unable to fall asleep, or waking up after only an hour or so of sleep), "hot flashes", dry-mouth, and sweating. I did not experience any of these before taking Darvocet or Flexeril. Could they be associated with either or both of these medications? Both of the meds have a precaution that they may cause DROWSINESS; so why can't I sleep?
