Almost 20 years ago, I was involved in a serious automobile accident, my left kidney was torn in half. The injury heal after 7 days in the hospital, the kidney was held together by a blood clot. Now, I am experiencing a sudden on-set of pain in my left kidney area which is worse when I cough. Could the two be related?
