Hello. I have been having back problems for a while but everyone has always given me xrays or muscle relaxers. I went to a different doctor who suggested a MRI. I received a copy of the results from the Radiologist. Can you explain to me what it means??? "There is a relatively acute Schmorl's node superiorly within the L2 vertebral body with some adjacent surrounding osteoedema. The vertebral body marrow pattern is also remarkable for two hyperintense T1 areas within the T10 vertebral body suggesting small benign hemangiomata. My doctor said that she was going to send me to a neurosurgeon so that they could consult with me because I might have tumors. Can you please put this in non-doctoral words so I can understand it. And one last thing, I work at UPS where I am constantly picking up heavy boxes (some weigh as much as 80lbs) could this be a job injury?
