One day I received an email from a friend in another country that also has Dystonia .
This email contained a link to Rogers’s web site.
I was quite curious and went to the website and contacted Rogers.
What has developed from my curiosity is a truly wonderful friendship.
We share a common interest in seeing the defeat of this awful disorder.
Both of us have different forms of this disease and yet we have developed a deep and lasting friendship.
Last summer Rogers came to see me and we met face to face for the first time. It was instant friendship.
I have been living with Dystonia for over 50 years and about 4 years ago had a bout with MRSA that nearly took my life.
But thanks to modern medicine I survived, but now I am living life in a wheelchair. I was fully functional I drove a car and except for a noticeable limp and a few others things I was a "normal" woman.
After the MRSA incident I can no longer walk – YET!
My car was sold and my husband has to help me with
As many of you know, life sometimes is extremely challenging.
Rogers’s friendship and encouragement has really helped
me get through some very difficult days.
She is so encouraging and has become my greatest supporter.
To know Rogers is truly a blessing
Love ya lots, M
(Thanks, pal. I am so touched by this. Much love and crabcakes soon!
