* because there are 175 families around Ireland on the waiting list for an Assistance Dog
* because it costs €35,000 to train an Assistance Dog and winning €10,000 will go one-third of the way toward covering that cost ...
* because every day that we have had Clive has made us realise just how magical and precious his presence is within our house and we have experienced the enormous impact he has had on Murray ....
* because we know what our lives were like before Clive came here and we know how hard it is for many families waiting to get a dog like Clive
* because Clive is Murray's BEST FRIEND - HIS CONSTANT - HIS SUPPORT
* because other kids like Murray deserve to have a BEST FRIEND like Clive
