This month was probably one of my most varied months for reading, ranging from Amish fiction to a vampire story and including a variety of non-fiction books as well. I also read one of the most inspiring books I have ever come across, a memoir by Jennifer Gilbert called I Never Promised You a Goodie Bag . You can read my review of it at 5 Minutes for Mom .
The Newlyweds by Nell Freudenberger (Bangladesh meets Rochester, New York)
Prophet by R. J. Larson (awesome fantasy debut novel)
You Choose by Pippa Goodhart with Nick Sharratt (a children’s book)
I honestly didn’t realize how much I have been reading until I put this list together. I think it’s a combination of having more time and getting used to reading on my Kindle. My review-pending pile is finally getting manageable again, which is definitely a good thing! While I love having lots of great books to read, I start to worry when the obligations reach critical mass.
Anyway, here’s a list of what else I’ve finished over the last month:
7 Hours Omnibus by M. Dellosso, R. Gutteridge, T. Thrasher, T. Pawlik, R. Kendig, J.A. Wilson, and R. Parrish – A very cool collection of stories around a central question, “What would you do with 7 hours to live?”
