Welcome to my Nightstand post for August – the time where I look back over what I’ve read in the last month and see what’s next on the list for September. This was definitely a month for catching up on my outstanding reviews. I posted twice my required number of reviews at 5 Minutes for Books/5 Minutes for Mom :
The Color of Tea by Hannah Tunnicliffe – definitely a 5-Star Read; if I could recommend only one book to you this month, this would be it
A Girl Like You by Maria Geraci – a light, engaging read for the end of summer
The Deposit Slip by Tood M. Johnson – enjoyable with a good balance of character and action
Besides the short story collection mentioned above, I have three novels to read for 5MFB, as well as four autism-related titles to review for Future Horizons , so I’m shooting to get all of those done and written up by the end of September.
How about you – what book do you recommend from the last month, or what are you most looking forward to reading coming up?
