Weekly Wrap Up: The once they finish their books we are on break edition

It's official. Once they finish their final assigned work, we are done until Sept. 1st. YAY!!!! I like breaking up the year into 3 different terms and getting a break every 3 months. It is refreshing to say the least. Unfortunately, we will will be doing together lessons probably all month. I am going to try to make it fun at least and spend the month doing more projects than anything else. It will be laid back and relaxed.
Our service project this week has been sending notes of encouragement to Grampa who is not feeling well. Both children drew wonderful cards to make him feel better.
We didn't take a field trip this week but we are going to playgroup today. I plan on getting up early and helping a friend with her shopping. Then there will be several hours in between that and playgroup that I can prepare for my Pampered Chef show that night. We will only be able to stay at playgroup for a few hours but the kids will love it.
